Since 2006, head of diagnostics and monitoring at BASF SE, Ludwigshafen. Since 1986, he has been working for BASF Ludwigshafen, first in the pump and compressor engineering, since 1988 as machine diagnostics engineer for the entire BASF group.

Studied general engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, with a specialisation in flow forces and mobile machinery.
